Une semaine après la démission de Hakuho, l’Association a décidé de redistribuer certains rôles au sein des oyakata. On apprend ainsi que l’ancien ozeki Takakeisho, aka l’instructeur Minatogawa, a été désigné pour prendre la place du yokozuna à la tête du service de relation avec la presse. Il sera associé à Terunofuji qui conserve sa position dans la filière de promotion des événements.
