Intai, the rikishi's dean retires
La liste des retraites sera publiquement annoncée mercredi, mais on connaît déjà quelques shikona en plus d’Hokutofuji et Satonofuji dont j’ai parlé la semaine dernière.

Parmi eux, on trouve Sawaisamu (Shikihide-beya). À 48 ans, il était jusqu’à dimanche le rikishi actif le plus âgé de l’Association. Démarrant sa carrière en juillet 1992, il a fait ses premiers pas sur le dohyo dans une période sans yokozuna.
NDLR, Hokutoumi se retire en mai 1992, Akebono est nommé en janvier 1993. Son meilleur classement était Jonidan 53, qu’il obtient à Nagoya en 2014. Dès aujourd’hui, il travaille à Chiba dans un centre hospitalier.

Editor's note: Hokutoumi retired in May 1992, Akebono was nominated in January 1993. His best ranking was Jonidan 53, which he obtained in Nagoya in 2014. As of today, he works in Chiba in a care facility.
