Ce jeudi matin, le president Hakkaku et Hokutofuji se sont présentés devant la presse pour dévoiler la fin de carrière du "Penseur". Que les fans se rassurent, on le trouvera toujours au sein de l’Association car il reprend le kabu Oyama-oyakata, vacant depuis le changement fait par Chiyootori fin avril.

La décision a été prise véritablement jeudi dernier avant la sortie des torikumi. Je rêvais de continuer plus loin, mais mon corps disait le contraire… Mon meilleur souvenir reste le kinboshi contre Hakuho au troisième jour du Hatsu 2018, mais aussi les moments passés aux côtés de Mitakeumi avec qui j'ai débuté en Makushita tsukidashi (NDLR, 2015-03).

This Thursday morning, President Hakkaku and Hokutofuji appeared in front of the press to unveil the end of the "Thinker's" career. Fans can rest assured, he will still work for the Association as he takes over the Oyama-oyakata kabu, vacant since the change made by Chiyootori at the end of April.

The decision was taken last Thursday before the release of the torikumi. I dreamed of continuing further, but my body said otherwise... My best memory remains the kinboshi against Hakuho on the third day of Hatsu 2018, but also the moments spent with Mitakeumi with whom I made my debut in Makushita tsukidashi (Editor's note, 2015-03).
