Yokozuna Hoshoryu: the white rope is ready
Ce matin, le club Tatsunami recevait de nombreux représentants du groupe Dewanoumi (rikishi et autre personnel) pour tresser la corde blanche de notre nouveau Grand champion.
Musashimaru est arrivé quelques minutes avant que le nœud soit fait dans le dos d’Hoshoryu, apportant avec lui des "cadeaux" : un set de kesho-mawashi et deux épées. Après un bref contrôle, le 67e yokozuna a enseigné le dohyo-iri Unryu au champion du dernier tournoi.
Vers midi JPT, le Kimura Shonosuke est apparu sur le dohyo, accompagné du nouveau tate-yobidashi : Katsuyuki. On a pu enfin entendre les premiers YOISHO dans la salle ! Comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos, le mongol sera escorté par Hiradoumi et Meisei.
Demain, la cérémonie au temple Meiji commencera vers 7:00 GMT. Parmi les invités, on a appris aujourd’hui via ses réseaux sociaux que "Tonton" Asashoryu sera bien là avec ses parents !

This morning, the Tatsunami stable received many representatives of the Dewanoumi group (rikishi and other staff) to braid the white rope of our new Grand Champion.
Musashimaru arrived a few minutes before the knot was tied on Hoshoryu's back, bringing with him "gifts": a set of kesho-mawashi and two swords. After a brief check, the 67th yokozuna instructed the Unryu dohyo-iri to the champion of the last tournament.
Around noon JPT, the Kimura Shonosuke appeared on the dohyo, accompanied by the new tate-yobidashi: Katsuyuki. We were finally able to hear the first YOISHO in the room! As you can see in the photos, the Mongolian will be escorted by Hiradoumi and Meisei.
Tomorrow, the ceremony at Meiji temple will begin at around 7:00 GMT. Among the guests, we learned today via his social networks that "Uncle" Asashoryu will be there with his parents!
