The brother of a rikishi finishes runner-up in the university sumo tournament!
La compétition nationale des lycées s’est jouée aujourd’hui au gymnase de Tottori. Un élève de Tokyo, Kazuki Sawada (à gauche sur la photo), en est devenu le yokozuna après sa finale contre Keito Nagamatsu, le frère de Wakaikazuchi, l’actuel Sandanme #35 d’Ikazuchi-beya ! Le règlement autorise les QUATRE finalistes à postuler pour intégrer l’Association en Makushita tsukidashi. Il n’est donc pas improbable de découvrir prochainement une autre fratrie dans le monde professionnel.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
The national HS competition was played today at the Tottori gymnasium. A student from Tokyo, Kazuki Sawada (on the left of the photo), became the yokozuna after his final against Keito Nagamatsu, the brother of Wakaikazuchi, currently Sandanme #35 at Ikazuchi-beya! The rules allow the FOUR finalists to apply to join the Association as Makushita tsukidashi. We will probably soon discover another sibling in the professional world.
