Oho and Otake-beya will soon have a new headmaster
Il a été annoncé ce jeudi matin qu’Otake-oyakata (fka sekiwake Dairyu) cèdera fin septembre sa place car il aura l’âge limite des 65 ans.
N’ayant pas d’instructeur en interne pour lui succéder, il doit se tourner vers un club du même groupe : Kataonami-beya, en choisissant Kumagatani-oyakata (fka M9 Tamaasuka, photo). De la même manière qu’Isegahama-beya il y a quelques semaines, les deux hommes échangeront leur kabu et Dairyu restera consultant pendant cinq ans.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
It was announced this Thursday morning that Otake-oyakata (fka sekiwake Dairyu) will give up his place at the end of September because he will be 65 years old.
Having no in-house instructor to succeed him, he had to turn to a stable in the same group: Kataonami-beya, choosing Kumagatani-oyakata (fka M9 Tamaasuka, photo). In the same way as Isegahama-beya a few weeks ago, the two men will swap their kabu and Dairyu will remain a consultant for five years.
