L'ancien Maegashira 12 Akiseyama (Kise-beya) a officiellement quitté l'Association japonaise de sumo vendredi 7 août, libérant ainsi son titre d'entraîneur (kabu) Izutsu.
S'il s'éloigne du circuit officiel, il compte toutefois rester lié à la discipline en intégrant une entreprise du secteur.
