Mercredi 4 mars, Kirishima est venu pour un degeiko chez Arashio-beya. Il a fait une douzaine de duels notamment contre Aonishiki, mais sort de son entraînement avec un score de 4-9… Le disciple d’Otowayama-beya a choisi de finir sa préparation chez lui en attendant l’ouverture de la compétition dimanche.
Je n’étais pas brillant pendant la séance d'aujourd'hui, mais ce qui m’importe le plus est de ne pas être blessé. À Osaka, je vise les 10+ victoires pour rester dans la course au statut d’ozeki. J’ai pris 11 points en janvier, je devrais égaler voire améliorer ma performance cette fois.
