Hoshoryu receives another set of kesho-mawashi
Hoshoryu est rentré aujourd’hui à Tokyo après son séjour en Nagano. Après l’entraînement chez Tatsunami-beya, il a assisté à une réunion avec l’un des supporters du club. Un trio de tabliers pour son dohyo-iri lui a été remis par le président Koichiro. On y voit :
Un rancho (créature mythologique semblable au paon) pour le yokozuna
Un chien pour le "gardien-balai"
Un komainu (statue de lion) pour le porteur de l'épée

Hoshoryu returned to Tokyo today after his stay in Nagano. After training at Tatsunami-beya, he attended a meeting with one of the stable's supporters. A trio of aprons for his dohyo-iri was presented to him by President Koichiro. It features:
A rancho (mythological creature like a peacock) for the yokozuna
A dog for the dew sweeper
A komainu (lion statue) for the sword bearer
