Le clan Nishonoseki s’est réuni dimanche près de la gare d’Osaka pour un entraînement commun (degeiko).
Parmi les rikishi, on a pu voir le vétéran Tamawashi s’exercer principalement avec Gonoyama. Le "Iron Man" n’a pas vraiment fait une belle performance (6-6), mais il ne s’en soucie guère.
Seul compte le résultat du tournoi. Il reste cinq jours pour que je montre à mes adversaires de quoi je suis encore capable avant la compétition.
De leurs côtés, Onosato et Kotozakura ont choisi de s’affronter à 14 reprises. Le yokozuna sort vainqueur à 8-6 mais n’est pas satisfait de sa prestation. Même si son épaule va bien, il veut encore repousser les limites de son corps pour aborder la quinzaine du mieux possible.
