Le Maegashira 4 se prépare activement pour le tournoi, c’est la première fois de sa carrière qu’il atteint un classement aussi haut. Pendant la quinzaine à venir, il affrontera encore la san’yaku mais à un rythme plus important.
L’entraînement de la semaine dernière avec Hoshoryu était très instructif, il a même amélioré les enseignements de l’ancien Miyagino-oyakata en les mêlant à ceux prodigués par le yokozuna et son directeur, Isegahama-oyakata.
