Dans la matinée, un tabloïd japonais a publié un article sur le 69e yokozuna en indiquant qu'il a présenté ses papiers de démission qui prendra effet après le tournoi de mai à Tokyo (Natsu/été).

Cette décision aurait été prise après le constat que son club ne pourrait sans doute jamais être rétabli. Isegahama-oyakata, son supérieur hiérarchique depuis la fusion l'an dernier, DÉMENT cette rumeur !

C'est très certainement un mensonge de ce journal pour attirer l'attention, je n'ai rien entendu à ce propos. On parle beaucoup tous les deux depuis qu'ils [NDLR, les membres de Miyagino-beya] nous ont rejoints, il n'a jamais mentionné à quiconque l'idée de partir.

Wednesday morning, a Japanese tabloid published an article about the 69th yokozuna indicating he had submitted his resignation papers, taking effect after May's tournament in Tokyo (Natsu/Summer).
