L’Association a révélé ce lundi matin la date pour son traditionnel tournoi GRAND SUMO : dimanche 9 février au Kokugikan.

Pendant cet événement, qu’on appelle aussi "tournoi Fuji tv", il y aura une compétition Makuuchi et une autre Juryo. Les membres d’un même club peuvent se rencontrer à n’importe quel stade, et même les oyakata peuvent participer dans un concours annexe. La veille, la chaîne NHK organisera son annuel gala caritatif.

The Association revealed this Monday morning the date for its traditional GRAND SUMO tournament: Sunday, February 9 at the Kokugikan. During this event, which is also called the "Fuji tv tournament", there will be a Makuuchi competition and a Juryo one.
