Les archives de l'Association présentent régulièrement l'ouverture de certains tournois du passé.
Elles font leur retour en ce mercredi 15 janvier, ce sont les premières pour l’année 2025. Vingt matchs sont présentés. Le 48e yokozuna, Taiho, rendait sa 23e coupe de l’Empereur au Président Futabayama avant de la récupérer au terme de la compétition. Parmi les têtes "reconnaissables", on peut citer entre autres : Tsurugamine (13:11), Kotozakura I (14:33), Yutakayama I (15:50), le futur Tamanoumi (17:08) et Kitanofuji (18:59) avant l’entrée des Grands champions sur le dohyo.

The Association's archives regularly present the opening of certain tournaments from the past.
They are back on Wednesday, January 15, they are the first for the year 2025. Twenty matches are presented. The 48th yokozuna, Taiho, returned his 23rd Emperor's Cup to President Futabayama before recovering it at the end of the competition.
