En avril, l'Association nous présente le tournoi de mars -Haru/printemps- 1984. Comme d'habitude la vidéo sur le premier jour est gratuite.

Le 59e yokozuna Takanosato rendait sa quatrième coupe de l'Empereur au président Kasugano. Le futur Hokutoumi, qui s'appelait encore Hoshi, venait tout juste d'être promu sekiwake.

Parmi les 21 matchs de cette vidéo, on peut voir en Juryo deux favoris : Konishiki (3:58) et Takamiyama (4:38). En Makuuchi, regardez par exemple les performances de Takamitsugi (8:23, aka Tokiwayama-oyakata) suivi de Sakahoko (9:12, aka Izutsu-oyakata) ou encore Asashio IV (16:33, aka Takasago-oyakata). Du côté des Grands champions, retrouvez Kitanoumi (21:37), Chiyonofuji (22:31) et Takanosato (23:43). À la fin de la quinzaine, c’est l’ozeki Wakashimazu qui soulèvera son premier trophée sur le score de 14-1.

In April, the Association presents the March 1984 tournament -Haru/Spring. As usual the video of the first day is free.

The 59th yokozuna Takanosato returned his fourth Emperor's cup to President Kasugano. The future Hokutoumi, then known as Hoshi, was just promoted to sekiwake.

Among the 21 matches in this video, we can see in Juryo two favorites: Konishiki (3:58) and Takamiyama (4:38). In Makuuchi, look at the performances of Takamitsugi (8:23, aka Tokiwayama-oyakata) followed by Sakahoko (9:12, aka Izutsu-oyakata) or Asashio IV (16:33, aka Takasago-oyakata). Regarding the Grand champions, find Kitanoumi (21:37), Chiyonofuji (22:31) et Takanosato (23:43). A the end of the fortnight, ozeki Wakashimazu lifted his first trophy with a score of 14-1.
