Le jeune ukrainien d’Ajigawa-beya se prépare activement pour le tournoi de Nagoya, en restant chez lui pour l’instant.
The young Ukrainian from Ajigawa-beya is actively preparing for the Nagoya tournament, staying at home for now.
Lundi matin, Aonishiki s’est concentré sur des exercices basiques avec ses camarades, sans duel. Son directeur, fka sekiwake Aminishiki, l’encourage à progresser d’abord sur les éléments essentiels du sumo. Les deux hommes n’excluent cependant pas l’idée d’un degeiko avec les autres clubs. Pour la compétition de juillet, on devrait le retrouver vers la Maegashira 2, en étant confronté à la san’yaku. Il a déjà affronté (et perdu) Kotozakura, Daieisho et Wakatakakage en mai ; cela ne l’effraie donc pas mais il veut élever davantage son niveau pour se mesurer à eux et les battre.

On Monday morning, Aonishiki focused on the basics with his teammates, without a duel. His director, fka sekiwake Aminishiki, encouraged him to progress first on the essentials of sumo. However, the two men do not rule out the idea of a degeiko with the other stables. For the July competition, we should find him around Maegashira 2, facing the san'yaku. He has already faced (and lost) Kotozakura, Daieisho and Wakatakakage in May; so it doesn't scare him but he wants to raise his level more to measure himself against them and beat them.
