Le club Sadogatake est la terre d’accueil pour que le groupe Nishonoseki se prépare au tournoi d’automne.
Parmi les sekitori, on a remarqué la présence de Tamawashi ! Le vétéran a fait une dizaine de matchs (9-2), il était d’ailleurs très surpris de ces résultats. De son côté, Kotoshoho a atteint la moyenne de 5-4, son sumo était un peu meilleur qu’hier devant le Comité mais il veut oublier cette performance et redoubler d’efforts pour la compétition.
Onosato a répondu à l’invitation de Kotozakura, ils ont fait quinze duels que le yokozuna a gagné 12-3. L’ozeki affirme avoir changé de stratégie depuis Nagoya, il souhaite maintenant acquérir un score positif à deux chiffres (trois 8-7 consécutifs depuis mars sont "indignes" de ce rang…).
