The Juryo promotions for the September tournament (Aki) have been announced
Comme le veut l'usage, les premiers mouvements au sein de la division Juryo ont été officialisés en vue du tournoi de septembre.
Ce nouveau classement voit l'accession de deux nouveaux sekitori, ainsi que le retour d'un troisième lutteur, un an tout juste après sa relégation (tableau 1). Ce changement est toutefois assombri par l'annonce de cinq départs à la retraite, incluant un ancien Maegashira (tableau 2).
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
As is customary, the first changes within the Juryo division have been officially announced ahead of the September tournament.
This new ranking sees the promotion of two new sekitori, as well as the return of a third wrestler, exactly one year after his demotion (Table 1). This change is, however, overshadowed by the announcement of five retirements, including a former Maegashira (Table 2).
