La grande surprise de ce lundi a été la participation de Wakatakakage (écurie Arashio) aux entraînements du clan Tokitsukaze.
Relégué en Juryo pour le tournoi de novembre après une longue convalescence, l'ancien sekiwake s'est fait remarquer en enchaînant cinq victoires consécutives face à Daieisho et Shodai, ce dernier étant également rétrogradé en deuxième division.
Je vise un retour pour le tournoi du nouvel an. Affronter mes anciens rivaux de la division Makuuchi est un excellent test pour évaluer ma jambe.
Je reprends progressivement les exercices sans forcer. Le directeur Arashio décidera jeudi si je participe à Fukuoka, mais je préférerais patienter, quitte à descendre en Makushita [la trosième division] en janvier.

The big surprise of this Monday was the participation of Wakatakakage (Arashio stable) in the training of the Tokitsukaze clan.
Demoted in Juryo for the November tournament after a long convalescence, the former sekiwake made a name for himself by winning five consecutive bouts against Daieisho and Shodai, the latter also being back to the second division.
I'm aiming to be back for the New Year's tournament. Training against my former rivals of the Makuuchi division is a great test to evaluate my leg.
