Mardi, la JSA a organisé un événement spécial au Kokugikan, consacré au 100e anniversaire de sa création.

Parmi toutes les animations, un dohyo-iri gozen-gakari était mis en place pour la Makuuchi. C’est une présentation exceptionnelle en carré produite généralement pour la venue de l’Empereur.
Les yokozuna ont aussi réalisé le sandan-gamae, décomposé comme son nom l’indique en trois niveaux : position normale, attaque et défense.
Le kami-sumo est un duel muet sans vainqueur. Le chignon n'est pas tressé en feuille de gingko mais est entouré d'une feuille de papier.

Among all the animations, a gozen-gakari dohyo-iri was set up for the Makuuchi. It is an exceptional square presentation generally produced for the Emperor's visit. The yokozuna also performed the sandan-gamae, broken down as its name suggests into three levels: normal position, attack and defense.
Kami-sumo is a mute bout without a winner. The topknot is not tied as a gingko leaf but is surrounded by a sheet of paper.
