Mardi 3 février, c’est le jour du festival de lancer de haricots ! La légende raconte que c’est un rituel pour chasser les mauvais esprits dans les foyers, mais également pour attirer la bonne fortune.

L’ancien sekiwake Toyonoshima, retraité des dohyo depuis avril 2020, a aujourd'hui pu découvrir cette expérience pour la première fois comme spectateur à Narita-shi en Chiba. Malheureusement pour lui, il n’a rien pu attraper, mais a retrouvé les sekitori dans le temple une fois la cérémonie terminée. Il a ainsi partagé un moment d’amusement avec Hoshoryu, Onosato, Takayasu, Daieisho et Mitakeumi.
