Ce mercredi matin, les responsables du tournoi de juillet se sont rassemblés devant l’IG arena pour y poser le gomenfuda. C’est un panneau en bois sur lequel est inscrit l’annonce de la compétition, en demandant aux esprits leur clémence pour le bon déroulement de la quinzaine.

FYI, le basho sera l’événement inaugurant la nouvelle structure. Le banzuke y sera révélé lundi 30-6 avant l’examen des nouvelles recrues (shindeshi kensa) le 7-7. Entre ces deux dates, un dohyo-iri spécial est prévu.

This Wednesday morning, the officials in charge of the July tour-nament gathered in front of the IG arena to place the gomenfuda. It is a wooden sign on which is written the announcement of the competition, asking the spirits for their mercy towards the running of the fortnight.

FYI, the basho will be inaugurating the new structure. The banzuke will be revealed on Monday 30-6 before the examination of the new recruits (shindeshi kensa) on Monday 7-7. Between these two dates, a special dohyo-iri is planned.
