L’ancien ozeki Takanonami aurait 53 ans. Actif entre 1987 et 2004 chez Futagoyama-beya I, il était devenu instructeur à sa retraite sous le kabu Otowayama. Il meurt en juin 2015 d’un arrêt cardiaque.
Tokonaka a 64 ans. Engagé en 1978 chez Oshiogawa-beya I, il a été transféré en 2005 chez Nishikido avant d’être promu en « Première classe » (2009), pour en être aujourd’hui le deuxième tokoyama (coiffeur).

The former ozeki Takanonami would be 53 years old. Active between 1987 and 2004 at Futagoyama-beya I, he became an instructor on his retirement under the kabu Otowayama. He died in June 2015 of a cardiac arrest.
Tokonaka is 64. Hired in 1978 by Oshiogawa-beya I, he was transferred in 2005 to Nishikido before being promoted to the "First class" (2009), to be the second tokoyama (hairdresser) today.
