A wanted notice for a 50+ year old kesho-mawashi!
La ville de Nagoya a réussi à retrouver deux tabliers de cérémonie qui appartenaient au yokozuna Tamanoumi au début des années 1970. À sa mort tragique en 1971, les trois pièces ont été séparées. Si l’un était conservé par la famille en Nagasaki, le deuxième était entreposé chez un entrepreneur en Aichi.
Le troisième "morceau du puzzle" est toujours porté disparu mais le koenkai du Grand champion basé à Gamagori, Aichi met tout en œuvre pour réunir le set complet.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
The city of Nagoya has managed to find two ceremonial aprons that belonged to the yokozuna Tamanoumi in the early 1970s. When he tragically died in 1971, the three pieces were separated. While one was kept by the family in Nagasaki, the second was “owned” by a contractor in Aichi.
The third "piece of the puzzle" is still missing, but the koenkai of the Grand Champion based in Gamagori, Aichi does everything possible to put the set back together.
