L'ozeki Tochiazuma II a 48 ans. Actif entre 1994 et 2007 chez Tamanoi-beya, il en est devenu le directeur en 2009 lorsque son père, un ancien sekiwake et fondateur du club (1990), a pris sa retraite.
Le Maegashira 14 Asahito a 59 ans. Actif entre 1981 et 1998 chez Oshima-beya, on le connaît aujourd’hui sous le kabu d’instructeur Nakagawa au sein du club Tokitsukaze.

Two former sekitori are celebrating their birthdays today.
Ozeki Tochiazuma II is 48 years old. Active between 1994 and 2007 at Tamanoi-beya, he became its director in 2009 when his father, a former sekiwake and founder of the stable (1990), retired.
Maegashira 14 Asahito is 59. Active between 1981 and 1998 at Oshima-beya, he is known today under the kabu of instructor Nakagawa within Tokitsukaze stable.
