Deux anciens ozeki fêtent leur anniversaire aujourd’hui.
Shodai a 33 ans. Actif depuis 2014 chez Tokitsukaze-beya, il a terminé Aki sur le score de 10-5 comme Maegashira 4, ce qui lui a permis de réintégrer la san’yaku pour novembre en tant que komusubi.
Baruto a 40 ans. Actif entre 2004 et 2013 chez Mihogaseki-beya puis Onoe, il a quitté l’Association à sa retraite. Après un passage dans le monde du MMA, il s’est lancé en politique dans son pays natal (Estonie).

Two former ozeki are celebrating their birthdays today.
Shodai is 33 years old. Active since 2014 at Tokitsukaze-beya, he finished Aki with a score of 10-5 as Maegashira 4, which allowed him to rejoin the san'yaku for November as a komusubi.
Baruto is 40. Active between 2004 and 2013 with Mihogaseki-beya and then Onoe, he left the Association on his retirement. After a stint in the world of MMA, he entered politics in his native Estonia.
