Un officiel fête son anniversaire aujourd’hui.
Le chef des arbitres, Shikimori Inosuke, a 63 ans ! Engagé en 1977 chez Kokonoe-beya, il a intégré la Makuuchi en 2006 avant d’être promu en san’yaku (2014). En septembre dernier, l’Association le nomme à la deuxième place la plus importante du classement (fuku-tate). Il deviendra le « maître suprême » (tate-gyoji) en janvier prochain, et prendra le nom de Kimura Shonosuke.

An official is celebrating his birthday today.
The head of the referees, Shikimori Inosuke, is 63 years old! Hired in 1977 by Kokonoe-beya, he joined the Makuuchi in 2006 before being promoted to san'yaku (2014). Last September, the Association named him to the second most important place in the ranking (fuku-tate). He will become the "supreme master" (tate-gyoji) next January and will take the name Kimura Shonosuke.
