Samedi 31 janvier, le Kokugikan accueillait une journée consacrée au 73ᵉ yokozuna.
La compétition dont je parlais hier a eu lieu dans la matinée et n’a duré qu’une quinzaine de minutes avant que la Juryo monte sur le dohyo. Pour son ultime dohyo-iri, le "Kaiju" était accompagné d’Hoshoryu et Onosato, mais également de son fils Temujin (photo du haut). De nombreuses personnalités sont venues couper une mèche du chignon, dont la famille de judoka Abe, Uta ♀ et Hifumi ♂), mais surtout Hakuho !
