L’Association a dépoussiéré pour le mois de novembre une nouvelle archive : la DeLorean nous envoie en 1967 !

Deux mois plus tôt, Taiho décrochait sa 26^e coupe de l’Empereur.

Vingt matchs nous sont présentés pour l’ouverture du tournoi. Kotozakura I faisait ses débuts en tant qu’ozeki "haridashi", une appellation obsolète qui correspond aujourd’hui au numéro 2.

Regardez par exemple Takamiyama en Juryo (4:47) ou Yutakayama I (17:20). On peut voir aussi Kitanofuji (20:21) et les trois yokozuna à partir de 21:37. À la fin de la quinzaine, le 50^e Grand champion Sadanoyama soulèvera son 5^e trophée.

Twenty matches are presented for the opening of the tournament. Kotozakura I made his debut as ozeki "haridashi", an obsolete name that corresponds to the number 2 today.

Look for example at Takamiyama in Juryo (4:47) or Yutakayama I (17:20). We can also see Kitanofuji (20:21) and the three yokozuna from 21:37. At the end of the fortnight, the 50^th Grand champion Sadanoyama would lift his fifth trophy.
