Kyushu basho: only six days left to prepare for the "clash of the titans"
Aujourd’hui, on rend visite au clan Tokitsukaze qui a organisé un entraînement commun au sein du club éponyme.
Hoshoryu a donné le ton à ses compagnons, en se mesurant notamment à Shodai (un cadeau d’anniversaire empoisonné ? 😉). Bien que l’ancien ozeki n’ait remporté que deux duels, il se sent plutôt confiant pour le tournoi de novembre et espère conserver son statut de san’yaku pour, qui sait, reprendre sa place.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Today, we visited the Tokitsukaze clan who organized a joint training session within the eponymous club.
Hoshoryu set the tone for his companions, notably by measuring himself against Shodai (a poisoned birthday present? 😉). Although the former ozeki has only won two duels, he is feeling confident for the November tournament and hopes to retain his status as a san'yaku to, who knows, regain his place.
