Le Kokugikan accueillait aujourd’hui un entraînement général sous la surveillance du Conseil de Délibération. Plus de 5'500 spectateurs occupaient les gradins.
Parmi les moments forts de la matinée, on note qu’Hoshoryu a fait une vingtaine de duels et ressort avec un score de 18-4, salué par le président Tadamori. Les ozeki de leurs côtés ont moins brillé, en ne gagnant chacun que 5 des seize matchs programmés…
Les "haut-gradés" de la Makushita étaient présents. Enho (Ms 10) par exemple n’a eu que deux rencontres mais il repart confiant, tandis qu’Asanoyama (Ms 14) en a eu trois et préserve son genou encore fragile.

The Kokugikan was hosting a general training session today under the supervision of the Deliberation council. More than 5,500 spectators occupied the stands.
Among the highlights of the morning, we note that Hoshoryu had about twenty duels and came out with a score of 18-4, praised by President Tadamori. The ozeki on their side did not shine as much, winning only 5 of the sixteen scheduled matches each...
The "high-rankings" Makushita rikishi were present. Enho (Ms 10) for example only had two matches but he leaves confident, while Asanoyama (Ms 14) had three and preserves his still fragile knee.
