Le conseil YDC a supervisé l’entraînement général de ce lundi au Kokugikan.
Terunofuji était présent et a travaillé principalement avec Onosato. Le yokozuna se sent plutôt bien, mais ne se prononce pas quant à sa participation au tournoi, qui démarre dimanche. Il encourage vivement les ozeki à produire un bon sumo afin que l’un d’entre eux – voire les deux – obtienne la prochaine corde blanche. À ce propos, Kotozakura a montré une faible prestation aujourd’hui avec Hoshoryu (3-10 pour le Mongol !). Dans la salle, on a pu entendre beaucoup de commentaires lui demandant de se concentrer davantage. On lui aurait proposer un degeiko avec d’autres sekitori de Makuuchi dans la semaine à venir pour pallier ce problème…
