Sekitori promotions and retirements for the 2026 Hatsu basho
Ce matin, l’Association a révélé les shikona des nouveaux promus en Juryo pour le premier tournoi de l’année 2026. Il s’agit de Dewanoryu (Dewanoumi) et du champion Kazuma (Kise), accompagnés de Kyokukaiyu (Oshima). Les départs en retraite sont aussi connus, en plus d’Endo on en compte "seulement" quatre (tableau en bas de l'article).
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
This morning, the Association revealed the shikona of the newly promoted to Juryo for the first tournament of the year 2026. They are Dewanoryu (Dewanoumi) and the champion Kazuma (Kise), accompanied by Kyokukaiyu (Oshima). Retirements are also known, in addition to Endo there are "only" four (table at the end of this article).

NB : un autre employé de la JSA prend sa retraite. Il s'agit du tokoyama/coiffeur Tokotatsu rattaché à Tatsunami-beya. Il atteindra l'âge limite des 65 ans le 9 décembre prochain.
