On attaque cette deuxième semaine de compétition en gardant les mêmes podiums provisoires que ce weekend, ou presque…

En Juryo, Enho utilise toutes ses forces pour éliminer Nishikigi (21 cm et 83 kg de différence !!). Quelques minutes plus tard, Kazekeno se fait avoir par Shonannoumi, mais il conserve quand même sa place de leader solitaire.

En Makuuchi, Fujiryoga reste dans le haut du peloton en ne faisant "qu’une bouchée" de Mitakeumi. Kotoeiho prive Tobizaru de rejoindre l’échappée, et Gonoyama conclut la journée en énervant Kotozakura qui est à un petit point de subir le même sort kadoban qu’Aonishiki s’il ne réagit pas très vite [s'il n'obtient pas un score minimum de 8 points en juillet, il sera rétrogradé]…

Juste avant eux, Kirishima mène un combat acharné contre Wakamotoharu, l’ozeki sort vainqueur mais il semble sonné. Comme son frère, Kotoshoho oblige Wakatakakage à garder sa position en tête du groupe à 7-1.

BONUS : classé n°6 de la quatrième ligue Sandanme, Asahifuji continue son chemin invaincu 5-0 en combattant aujourd’hui dans la division supérieure Makushita.

We are starting this second week of competition with the same temporary podiums as this weekend, or almost...

In Juryo, Enho used all his strength to eliminate Nishikigi (21 cm and 83 kg difference!!). A few minutes later, Kazekeno was caught by Shonannoumi, but he kept his place as the solo leader.

In Makuuchi, Fujiryoga remains at the top of the pack by making "one mouthful" of Mitakeumi. Kotoeiho robbed Tobizaru of joining the breakaway, and Gonoyama ended the day by annoying Kotozakura who is one point away from suffering the same kadoban fate as Aonishiki if he doesn't react very quickly [he must get at least 8 points in July to escape a demotion]...

Just before them, Kirishima led a fierce fight against Wakamotoharu, the ozeki came out victorious but stunned. Like his brother, Kotoshoho forced Wakatakakage to keep his position at the top of the group at 7-1.

BONUS: Ranked No. 6 in the fourth league Sandanme, Asahifuji continued his unbeaten path 5-0 by fighting today in the upper division Makushita.
