Le classement du tournoi d'été a été dévoilé lundi 27 avril.

San'yaku
Chez les ozeki, Aonishiki occupe la place kadoban à cause de son 7-8 à Osaka en mars. Cela signifie qu'il est menacé d’une destitution s’il ne parvient pas à obtenir les 8 points minimum à Tokyo. Pendant ce temps, Kirishima retrouve le statut qu’il avait perdu en juillet 2024.
Atamifuji et Kotoshoho débuteront tous les deux "une nouvelle aventure" au rang de sekiwake !
Wakatakakage est lui aussi de retour en komusubi, un poste qu’il n’a pas connu depuis l’an dernier dans cette même compétition.

Maegashira
Cinq hommes enregistrent leur meilleur placement : Fujinokawa, Fujiseiun, Asakoryu, Asahakuryu et Kotoeiho.
L’heureuse nouvelle est l’arrivée de Wakanosho dans la division élite. Il est le premier élève de la nouvelle Minatogawa-beya à accomplir cette prouesse depuis que Takakeisho a repris l’affaire fin janvier, accompagné de Ryuden (Takadagawa), de retour après un Haru basho correct (9-6).
Le "grand perdant " dans cette histoire est Wakamotoharu qui, après son score passable 3-12, dégringole de komusubi à Maegashira 5…

Juryo
Si deux lutteurs ont été promus dans la première ligue, il faut les remplacer. Les malchanceux sont Onokatsu et Midorifuji qui n’avaient pas participé (ou très peu) dans le championnat précédent à cause de blessures ou d’un problème de santé.
Quatre individus atteignent leur meilleur classement : le champion Dewanoryu, Kyokukaiyu (photo avec le gâteau d’anniversaire, le 4 avril), Kazuma et Toshinofuji.
Leurs noms étaient déjà annoncés le mois dernier. Hakuyozan, Tochitaikai et Enho font leur rentrée dans le tableau sekitori et guident Okaryu pour ses premiers pas dans sa nouvelle carrière !
On notera que Tsurugisho est toujours inscrit (Makushita 11) du fait d’un avis de retraite "tardif" après l’établissement de la présente indexation…

San'yaku
Among the ozeki, Aonishiki occupies the kadoban spot because of his 7-8 in Osaka in March. It means that he's threatened with dismissal if he fails to get the minimum 8 points in Tokyo. Meanwhile, Kirishima regains the status he lost in July 2024.
Atamifuji and Kotoshoho will both start "a new adventure" at the rank of sekiwake.
Wakatakakage is also back in komusubi, a position he has not played in this same competition since last year.

Maegashira
Five men recorded their best assignments: Fujinokawa, Fujiseiun, Asakoryu, Asahakuryu and Kotoeiho.
The happy news is the arrival of Wakanosho in the elite division. He is the first student of the new Minatogawa-beya to accomplish this feat since Takakeisho took over the business at the end of January, accompanied by Ryuden (Takadagawa), back after a correct Haru basho (9-6).

Juryo
If two wrestlers have been promoted to the first league, two must "replace" them. The unlucky ones are Onokatsu and Midorifuji who did not participate (or shortly) in the previous championship due to injuries or health problems.
