À la veille de la finale de la compétition de mai, les cartes sont à nouveau redistribuées pour déterminer qui sera le champion… Dans la deuxième division, un scénario assez similaire s’est ouvert.

En Juryo, Kazuma confirme sa pole position en bloquant les bras d’Asasuiryu. Un peu plus tard, Takerufuji vient contredire les plans de Kazekeno et devient par la même occasion un prétendant au titre !

En Makuuchi, Fujiryoga empêche Yoshinofuji de grimper dans l’échappée avant que Fujinokawa se sorte "tout seul" du dohyo 😓 face à Ura…

En fin de journée, Hakunofuji crée la surprise générale en éliminant Kirishima ! Quelques minutes avant, Wakatakakage monte sur la plus haute marche du podium provisoire en se débarrassant de Kotoeiho.

Voici un synopsis pour demain…

Si Wakatakakage OU Kirishima gagne, il soulèvera le trophée. S'ils perdent tous les deux, il y aura une manche décisive à 5/6 hommes.
Si Kazuma remporte son dernier combat, ou si Takerufuji ET Kazekeno perdent le leur, il empochera le titre. Sinon, on verra une autre phase subsidiaire avec un trio…
Le sort de la Makushita se jouera entre SEPT concurrents ! La quatrième ligue Sandanme se décidera quant à elle en un playoff simple.

In Makuuchi, Fujiryoga prevented Yoshinofuji from climbing in the breakaway before Fujinokawa went out of the dohyo "on his own" 😓 against Ura...

At the end of the day, Hakunofuji created a surprise by eliminating Kirishima! A few minutes before, Wakatakakage went up on the top step of the provisional podium by getting rid of Kotoeiho.

If Kazuma wins his last fight, or if Takerufuji AND Kazekeno lose theirs, he will pocket the title. Otherwise, we will see another subsidiary phase with a trio...
The fate of Makushita will be decided between SEVEN competitors! The fourth league Sandanme will be determined during a single playoff.
