Vendredi 17 juillet : une autre journée folle !

En cette veille de weekend, le classement provisoire nous offre une sacrée surprise : il n’y a plus qu’un leader solitaire chez les Makuuchi, et ce n’est autre qu'un colosse ukrainien !

Les choses ne changent pas en deuxième division : Shirokuma et Arashifuji conservent leur avance et restent invaincus (6-0) en éliminant respectivement Hatsuyama et Meisei.

💥Scénario totalement imprévisible en première division : Shishi se retrouve seul au sommet après la glissade d’Asakoryu. Wakanosho se fait ensuite surprendre par Fujiryoga. De son côté, Oshoma perd un point précieux : Takayasu a profité d'un moment d'inattention pour reculer tactiquement et laisser passer le Mongol.

⚡Aonishiki déjoue les plans de son adversaire en écrasant Oho au sol (mais à quel prix ?). Kirishima domine Yoshinofuji, tandis que Kotozakura peine à nouveau et s'incline face à Gonoyama.

🌟L’excitation est montée d'un cran en fin de journée : Hakunofuji crée l'exploit en s'offrant la deuxième étoile d’or (kinboshi) délivrée par Hoshoryu. Enfin, Onosato conclut l'affaire en renvoyant solidement Hiradoumi hors du cercle.

🚀Le bonus Makushita : l'invincible Asahifuji ne concède aucune défaite depuis ses débuts professionnels en novembre dernier. Avec un compteur incroyable de 27-0, une question brûle toutes les lèvres : qui pourra le stopper ?

Friday, July 17: another crazy day!

On the eve of the weekend, the provisional ranking offers us quite a surprise: there is only one sole leader left among the Makuuchi table, and it's none other than a Ukrainian colossus!

Things did not change in the second division: Shirokuma and Arashifuji kept their lead and remain unbeaten (6-0) by eliminating Hatsuyama and Meisei respectively.

💥Totally unpredictable scenario in the first division: Shishi finds himself alone at the top after Asakoryu's slide. Wakanosho is then surprised by Fujiryoga. For his part, Oshoma lost a precious point: Takayasu took advantage of a moment of inattention to tactically back up and let the Mongolian pass.

⚡Aonishiki stopped his opponent's plans by crushing Oho to the ground (but at what cost?). Kirishima dominated Yoshinofuji, while Kotozakura struggled again and lost to Gonoyama.

🌟The excitement went up a notch at the end of the day: Hakunofuji created the feat by winning the second gold star (kinboshi) delivered by Hoshoryu. Finally, Onosato closed the deal by sending Hiradoumi solidly out of the circle.

🚀The Makushita bonus: the invincible Asahifuji has not conceded a single defeat since his professional debut last November. With an incredible 27-0 record, one question is on everyone's lips: who can break him?
