十日 Hatsu basho, tenth day
Les têtes de classement sont à nouveau bouleversées mardi soir ! L’échappée Makuuchi redevient un quintet tandis que Sadanoumi prend l’avantage en Juryo.
En deuxième division, Nishinoryu va prendre Fujiseiun à son propre jeu sur la ligne (photo) : alors qu’il était en équilibre sur la paille, Nishi’ trouve la force de se retourner et aplatir son adversaire ! Plus tôt, Sadanoumi sécurisait son kachi-koshi en sortant Hitoshi. On notera par ailleurs l'abandon de Tochitaikai (3-7), blessé au genou après son duel contre Fujiryoga hier.
En première division, Shishi crée la surprise d’être dans le groupe des leaders en repoussant violemment Fujinokawa sur Hiradoumi au bord du dohyo.
En san’yaku, c’est peut-être le plus beau match sekitori de la journée : Kotozakura repousse Kirishima en dehors de la zone. Malgré les résultats passables de ces derniers jours, les yokozuna ont répondu présent ! Hoshoryu arrive avec difficulté à plaquer Oho au sol, avant qu’Atamifuji empoche son deuxième kinboshi contre Onosato qui lutte également contre la douleur…
Les spectateurs ont choisi leurs trois étoiles pour le dixième jour :

The top of the tables are upset again on Tuesday evening! The Makuuchi breakaway became a quintet again while Sadanoumi took the lead in Juryo.
In the second division, Nishinoryu took Fujiseiun at his own game on the line (photo): while balancing on the straw, Nishi' found the strength to turn and flatten his opponent! Earlier, Sadanoumi secured his kachi-koshi by taking out Hitoshi. FYI, Tochitaikai (3-7) withdrew because of a knee injury after his duel against Fujiryoga yesterday.
In the first division, Shishi created the surprise of being in the group of leaders by violently pushing Fujinokawa on Hiradoumi on the edge of the dohyo.
In san'yaku, it was perhaps the most stunning sekitori match of the day: Kotozakura pushed Kirishima out of the zone. Despite the passable results of the last few days, the yokozuna have answered the call today! Hoshoryu struggled to pin Oho to the ground, before Atamifuji pocket his second kinboshi against Onosato who is also struggling with his shoulder pain...
