(Makuuchi)

Il ne reste plus que quatre jours avant le dénouement du tournoi de printemps ! On ne retrouve plus qu’un homme au sommet de la Makuuchi alors que le haut du tableau Juryo redevient un duo. La mauvaise nouvelle de ce mercredi, c’est l’abandon de Shimazuumi (2-9).

Après un faux-départ qui aurait pu achever le match, Toshinofuji renverse Kazuma pour le priver d’un podium solitaire. Un peu plus tard, Dewanoryu s’invite dans l’échappée en envoyant Wakanosho au pied du dohyo.

Dans la première division, deux anciens ozeki s’affrontaient (photo). Mitakeumi est déclaré vainqueur par le Kimura Yonosuke, mais un mono-ii détermine qu’il avait déjà "quitté terre" avant qu’Asanoyama s’écroule.

En san’yaku, ce duel était probablement déterminant pour le championnat. Kirishima mène un combat acharné avant de se détourner pour que Gonoyama perde l’équilibre. Kotoshoho rappelle ensuite à Aonishiki que le statut kadoban est proche… Après un long moment à s’observer avant le tachi-ai, Hoshoryu envoie Takayasu au sol.

There are only four days left before the outcome of the spring tournament! There is only one man leading the Makuuchi while the top of the Juryo table becomes a duo again. The bad news of this Wednesday is the withdrawal of Shimazuumi (2-9).

After a false start that could have ended the match, Toshinofuji knocked Kazuma down to deny him a podium alone. A little later, Dewanoryu invited himself into the breakaway by sending Wakanosho outside of the dohyo.

Kotoshoho then reminded Aonishiki that the kadoban status is near... After a long time of observing each other before the tachi-ai, Hoshoryu sent Takayasu to the ground.
