A parade in honor of the yokozuna Onosato
À la différence d’Hoshoryu en février, Onosato a choisi la méthode traditionnelle (voiture) pour célébrer sa promotion au titre suprême dans sa ville natale de Tsubata, Ishikawa.
Plus de 37 000 personnes se sont réunies pour saluer le nouveau Grand champion en s’étalant sur près d’un kilomètre. À l’arrivée, les officiels locaux lui ont remis le prix d’honneur de la préfecture d’Ishikawa. Selon nos informations, il est le cinquième détenteur après Matsui (baseball), Matsumoto (judo) et les soeurs Kawai (lutte).
