Le mois de septembre s'annonce riche pour les passionnés avec la parution de trois magazines, dont un numéro spécial.
Les revues périodiques braqueront leurs projecteurs sur le prochain tournoi d'automne.
• SUMO (photo 1) reviendra sur la tournée d'été tout en décortiquant le nouveau banzuke — marquant notamment le retour d'Aonishiki au rang d'ozeki et les nouveaux statuts de Fujinokawa et Hakunofuji. La rédaction rendra également hommage au regretté Kitaseumi et tirera le portrait de Tochikodai (actuel Makushita #3 Kasugano-beya), proche d'accéder au rang de Juryo.
• De son côté, NHK-G Media (photo 2) publiera les entretiens croisés des combattants susmentionnés.
Enfin, une brochure collector (photo 3) retracera un siècle de sumo à travers cent combats mythiques, agrémentée d'archives photographiques et de récits inédits.

September looks set to be a busy month for enthusiasts, with the publication of three magazines, including a special issue.
Magazines will be turning their attention to the upcoming Autumn tournament.
SUMO (photo 1) will look back on the summer tour whilst analysing the new banzuke — notably marking Aonishiki’s return to the rank of ozeki and the new statuses of Fujinokawa and Hakunofuji. The editorial team will also pay tribute to the late Kitaseumi and profile Tochikodai (currently ranked Makushita #3 Kasugano-beya), who is close to reaching the rank of Juryo.
For its part, NHK-G Media (photo 2) will publish joint interviews with the aforementioned combatants.
Finally, a collector’s brochure (photo 3) will trace a century of sumo through a hundred legendary bouts, accompanied by archive photographs and unpublished stories.
