Les anniversaires du lundi 30 septembre

Deux officiels fêtent leur anniversaire aujourd’hui.

Tokoake fête ses 16 ans ! Engagé en mai dernier chez Nishonoseki-beya, il a été transféré chez Nakamura lorsque Yoshikaze a ouvert son club en juillet. Il est le 8ᵉ et dernier tokoyama (coiffeur) de la « Cinquième classe ».
L’ancien J. 4 Dairyu a 64 ans. Formé entre 1976 et 1997 au dojo de Taiho (renommé Otake-beya en 2003), il en est devenu le directeur en 2010 lorsque Takatoriki a été exclu de l’Association (cf. la fiche-anniversaire de samedi 28). Il est le premier oyakata et le seul jusqu’à aujourd’hui à avoir engagé un lutteur du continent africain : l’Égyptien Osunaarashi (ancien M. 1, 2012-2018).

Two officials are celebrating their birthday today.

Tokoake celebrates his 16th birthday! Signed last May by Nishonoseki-beya, he was transferred to Nakamura when Yoshikaze opened his club in July. He is the 8th and last tokoyama (hairdresser) of the "Fifth class".
The former J. 4 Dairyu is 64 years old. Trained between 1976 and 1997 at the Taiho dojo (renamed Otake-beya in 2003), he became its director in 2010 when Takatoriki was expelled from the Association (see the article of Saturday 28). He is the first oyakata and the only one so far to have entered a wrestler from the African continent: the Egyptian Osunaarashi (former M. 1, 2012-2018).
