Kazekeno got a new kesho-mawashi
Le Juryo 8 a reçu un nouveau tablier de cérémonie cette semaine, pendant une visite dans sa ville natale de Seiyo, Ehime.
Il représente un match de sumo entre deux mascottes : l’ourson Mikyan de la préfecture contre Seibo, le grigri local. Ce n’est pas le premier que Kazekeno obtient avec ce dessin, celui avec Seibo seul lui était remis l’an dernier pour son arrivée en sekitori.
FYI, le nom brodé sur la photo 乙亥 signifie "Otoi". C'est un tournoi annuel qui se dispute chaque année avec des enfants au mois de décembre.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
The Juryo 8 received a new ceremonial apron this week, during a visit to his hometown of Seiyo, Ehime.
It depicts a sumo bout be-tween two mascots: the Mikyan bear cub from the prefecture against Seibo, the local grigri. This is not the first that Kazekeno gets with this image, the one with Seibo alone was given to him last year for his sekitori promotion.
FYI, the name embroidered on the photo 乙亥 means "Otoi". It's an annual tournament played every year with children in December.
