Vendredi, ils ne sont plus que DEUX invaincus dans l'échappée Makuuchi ! Le haut du peloton cependant retombe à cinq hommes sur le score de 5-1. On notera quand même l'entrée en lice de Kotoshoho, sa jambe semble aller bien.
Asakoryu stoppe la série invincible de Nishikigi en ouverture de la première division. Plus tard, Daieisho perdra l'équilibre dès le tachiai contre Hiradoumi 😣.
Donnons aujourd'hui une mention spéciale à Aonishiki. Le jeune ukrainien "s'offre sur un plateau" le deuxième ancien san'yaku de son tournoi, Shodai (photo). Hakuoho confirme sa position de leader en sortant Ura, et sera rejoint en fin de journée par Onosato qui écarte Gonoyama.
Pour le bonus de cette veille de weekend, voici encore Enho en Makushita. Malheureusement, le favori des foules échoue contre Nishinoryu et ce point noir lui bloque un retour en Juryo sur le prochain banzuke.
