Lundi soir, on ne compte déjà plus que NEUF sekitori dans l’échappée Makuuchi et SIX pour la Juryo !
Après son repos en septembre, Takerufuji est de retour sur le dohyo et il veut le faire savoir en infligeant un henka à Kayo… Un peu plus tard, Asanoyama se fait prendre à son propre jeu contre Tochitaikai (photo).
En première division, Aonishiki se sacrifie pour balancer Wakamotoharu au premier rang des spectateurs. C’est un mauvais jour pour la famille Onami : Oho enroule le bras de Wakatakakage pour l’amener au sol.
On remonte la san’yaku pour arriver à Kotozakura. Après un faux départ, l’ozeki est surpris par Kirishima. Onosato enchaîne en agrippant Hakuoho qui met un genou à terre. Hoshoryu conclut la journée en fonçant sur Takanosho.
