On assistait aujourd'hui à quelques surprises, notamment dans les dernières rencontres...
En Juryo tout d'abord, Fujiryoga n'a pas pu défendre très aisément sa position contre Asanoyama, mais il se rassure en conservant sa place de leader.
Même s'il ne prétend plus au championnat, Ichiyamamoto envoie Yoshinofuji au sol avant que Kirishima en fasse autant avec Tokihayate (photo). Pour finir la journée, Kotozakura fait trembler le Kokusai center en amenant Onosato derrière la ligne. On conclut avec Aonishiki qui enclenche son "mode booster" en envoyant Hoshoryu directement sur les shimpan!

Si l'ukrainien perd, la coupe de l'Empereur reviendra à l'un des Grands champions. La "malédiction des 11-4" que le sekiwake subit depuis mars s'arrêtera-t-elle demain ?

In Juryo first, Fujiryoga couldn't defend his position very easily against Asanoyama, but he remains the leader.
Even though his place no longer allows Ichiyamamoto to claim the championship, he sent Yoshinofuji to the ground before Kirishima does the same a few minutes later with Tokihayate (photo).To end the day, Kotozakura made the Kokusai center tremble by bringing Onosato behind the line! Finally Aonishiki activated his "booster mode" to send Hoshoryu directly to the shimpan!
