十一日 Hatsu basho, eleventh day
Mercredi, ce ne sont plus que deux trios qui filent en tête des divisions sekitori.
En Juryo, Wakanosho devient "l’invité surprise" de l’échappée en éjectant le leader Sadanoumi. Plus tard, Fujiseiun conserve sa place en renversant Asasuiryu.
On arrive en Makuuchi. Abi ne fait qu’une bouchée de Shishi grâce à un henka (un pas sur le côté pour esquiver l’adversaire au coup d’envoi du match)… Aonishiki est toujours en pole position du classement provisoire après une rapide victoire contre Hakunofuji [NB : la jambe droite du n°3 s’est brusquement figée pendant l’attaque 😯].
Au grand étonnement des spectateurs, Onosato était sur le dohyo aujourd’hui, évitant à tout prix d’utiliser son épaule gauche contre Kirishima. On termine avec Hoshoryu, le "dragon" mongol amène Takayasu en dehors de la zone.

In Juryo, Wakanosho became the "surprise guest" of the breakaway by ejecting the leader Sadanoumi. Later, Fujiseiun retained his place by overthrowing Asasuiryu.
We arrive in Makuuchi. Abi made short work of Shishi thanks to a henka (a step to the side to dodge the opponent at the kick-off of the match)... Aonishiki is still in pole position in the provisional standings after a lightning victory against Hakunofuji [NB: the right leg of the No. 3 suddenly froze during the attack 😯].
To the great astonishment of the spectators, Onosato was on the dohyo today, avoiding using his left shoulder against Kirishima at all costs. We end the day with Hoshoryu, the Mongolian "dragon" brought Takayasu out of the area.
