Lundi 16 mars, les deux échappées sekitori perdent chacune un membre… On est heureux de retrouver Abi (1-3-5) sur le dohyo, mais Onokatsu (1-6-2) a choisi de repartir chez lui à cause de sa cheville qui est toujours un problème.

En Juryo, Fujitensei ne peut pas fuir devant Kazuma. Plus tard, Wakanosho agrippe Kagayaki à la gorge et ne le lâchera pas avant de le sortir de la zone.

En Makuuchi, Gonoyama ne laissera pas de répit à Kotoeiho. Juste après eux, Asanoyama va réussir à enrouler Tamawashi pour l’amener au sol. Kotoshoho continue son chemin vers une deuxième coupe de l’Empereur en éliminant "la panthère rose" Ura.

Avec 27 rencontres, c’est la plus grosse rivalité de la première division aujourd’hui. Kirishima prend la tête de course en envoyant Daieisho à terre ! Dans le reste de la san’yaku, Aonishiki parvient à bloquer les bras de Takayasu pour l’évincer du haut du classement. Hoshoryu en fera de même avec Takanosho.

Kachi-koshi (8-1) : Kirishima, Kotoshoho, Gonoyama // Wakanosho, Kazuma

Make-koshi (1-8) : Onokatsu // aucun

NB : Onokatsu (1-6-3) avait abandonné au J2 avant de revenir au J5, mais a finalement renoncé à la compétition aujourd’hui.

On Monday 16 March, the two sekitori breakaways each lost a member... We are happy to see Abi (1-3-5) on the dohyo, but Onokatsu (1-6-2) chose to go home because of his ankle which is still a problem.

In Juryo, Fujitensei cannot run away from Kazuma. Later, Wakanosho grabbed Kagayaki by the throat and won't let him go until he gets him out of the area.

In Makuuchi, Gonoyama didn't give Kotoeiho a break. Right after them, Asanoyama managed to wrap Tamawashi to bring him to the ground. Kotoshoho continued his path to a second Emperor's cup by defeating "the pink panther" Ura.

With 27 bouts, it is the biggest rivalry in the first division today. Kirishima keeps the lead by sending Daieisho to the ground! In the rest of the san'yaku, Aonishiki managed to block Takayasu's arms to oust him from the top of the rankings. Hoshoryu would do the same with Takanosho.
