San’yaku
Kirishima monte d'un niveau et reprend la place de sekiwake qu'il a quitté fin novembre 2024.
Wakatakakage et Takayasu se partagent la komusubi, ils retrouvent leur position après respectivement quatre et quatorze mois "d'absence" !

Maegashira
Terminant mars avec des résultats de 6-9, Oho et Abi sont logiquement destitués de la san'yaku.
Six hommes atteignent aujourd'hui leur meilleur classement ! On compte parmi eux les deux ukrainiens (Shishi et Aonishiki) ainsi que les deux compères d'Isegahama-beya, Takerufuji et Hakuoho.
Kayo et Tochitaikai feront leurs débuts dans la première division, accompagnés de Tamashoho et Roga qui reviennent après seulement un tournoi en Juryo.

Juryo
S'ils sont quatre promus, il faut équilibrer la balance avec quatre relégations. De ce fait, on voit Mitakeumi, Takarafuji, Shirokuma et Nishikifuji retomber en deuxième ligue.
On notera que sept lutteurs enregistrent leur meilleur rang, dont le champion d'Osaka Kusano qui dépasse tout le monde et prend la pole position !
Ils ont été annoncés fin mars, mais on connaît aujourd'hui les fauteuils qu'ils occuperont pendant Natsu : bienvenue chez les sekitori à Miyanokaze (fka Miyagi), Mita et Mudoho. Daiamami complète la formation.
Je souhaite conclure ce rapport en vous indiquant quelques favoris.

Otsuji et Hokutofuji tombent tous les deux en Makushita 3 et Kiryuko plonge n°6.

Bravo à Enho (Ms 10) et Asanoyama (Ms 14) qui sont tout près de la réintégration sekitori.

Hikarumusashi, le neveu de Musashigawa-oyakata, est propulsé de Jonokuchi 14 à Jonidan 62.

Tenrosei, le cousin d'Hoshoryu, le surpasse en montant Jd 61.
