Kyushu basho, five days to go: the construction of the dohyo has begun!
Comme chaque semaine qui précède un tournoi, le dohyo est réaménagé pour la quinzaine de compétition (FYI, seule Tokyo ne le démolit pas le soir de la finale). Les travaux ont commencé hier et se poursuivront jusqu’à jeudi soir. Il ne restera plus samedi qu’à reboucher le trou des offrandes après la cérémonie orchestrée par le Shikimori Inosuke.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
As every week before a tournament, the dohyo is refurbished for the fortnight of the competition (FYI, only Tokyo does not demolish it on the evening of the final). The works began yesterday and will continue until Thursday evening. All that remains on Saturday is to fill the hole of offerings after the ceremony orchestrated by Shikimori Inosuke.
